Peruvian Outlets

[edit]

hi, I didn't see anything about how peruvian Outlets combine type a and c plugs, see articles and pictures. https://howtoperu.com/electricity-and-plugs-in-peru/ Is there any way to add this? 184.148.163.85 (talk) 04:00, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is the GOST 6 A socket still a standard type?

[edit]

The section "Soviet standard GOST 7396 C 1 unearthed" under "Standard types in present use" describes 6 A sockets and plugs that were apparently widely used in Soviet times. But that's more than 30 years ago and I wonder whether this is still a standard type? I checked [1] which seems to be the current version of the GOST 7396 standard and couldn't find any mention of 6 A plugs or sockets. I suspect their production ceased after the end of the Soviet Union when the electric installations in Russian and neighbouring countries were made fully compatible with the Schuko system. If so, I'd suggest moving this section down into "Unusual types". Gawaon (talk) 09:01, 8 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
